Be yourself. The world worships the original. – Ingrid Bergman
We all have an innate desire to be seen as the best version of ourselves. Put together, sophisticated, charismatic, complex, innovative, part of the “in” crowd….trendy; all the attributes we value most and hope everyone notices about us. We want to be part of the Cafe Society, polished, posh and popular.
But take a closer look and a somewhat different person tends to exist. One who struggles with self-confidence, self-worth, purpose and significance.
Hey there, I’m Ronny; author of Cafe Society. I have to tell you, I’ve been there, done that and have felt more than somewhat lacking at being that put-together, charismatic, trendy person I just described. I tend to identify with that other person there. I’m going to guess you do too. Am I right? And yet there is so much more to you, about you than what’s on the surface. However, just getting there, bringing that more to light can be challenging at best. At worst, you may feel like the whole world is judging you, measuring you up to see if you fit in.
Well, you won’t find that here. No judging, no measuring up, no politics, no holier-than-thou rhetoric. Just me sharing my personal life experiences, my failures and successes, my struggles and triumphs. Just me expressing words of encouragement so you will hopefully come away feeling empowered and inspired, knowing that you have intrinsic value and significance; that your life has purpose, and worth. You don’t have to prove you’re part of the “in” crowd…you are the “in” crowd! Just love you, be you, do you!
So pull up a comfy seat, grab a cup of coffee (tea for me, please!), and let’s chat, let’s laugh, let’s have a good time visiting.
